He would be on ur friends list if he accepted. What might hv happened was that u clicked on Add, but after that u did not click on Invite As Friend..so he was only added to ur favorites. I would try to Add him again.

If everyone is connected to each other, then you will see a "blue person icon" next to their name under the "Contacts" box (left side, bottom) on your 360 "Home" page. If you see a green cross, either one of you hasn't accepted (or sent) an invitation. That can happen if you click the "Add" link under a person's profile picture on their 360 page, but the other person did not do the same for you. If you see no icon, no invite has been accepted on either side.

He is not added to your 360 untill you add him as a FRIEND. When you added him....you didnt' checkmark that ADD AS A FRIEND option....so he ended up in your FAVORITES. He didn't even get an invitation when you did that....if you had opted to ADD AS A FRIEND he would have gotten an invitation.

Drives me nuts with all the invites and connections and contacts and fans stuff...............
