anyone been to Kuwait naval base? what are the accomodations like? For Army guys that is? Thanx.?

It's good compared to Iraq.

I have but it has been many years. It is an established base meaning there is a mess hall, internet bldg gym etc. The first time I was there they had a food court that has some local food stands and gift shops. The last time I was there that had closed. Also, the army was living in GP tents. This was in 2005 if I remember correctly.

My hubby thinks Kuwait is great. They were there for a month before going into Iraq and he says they stayed in tents but the food is good and they have a large PX, coffee shop, fast food, and individual showers. He hates Iraq though.

you will find most facilities like gym, sports venue, cafe, Internet, showers, toilet etc.... but you will be sleeping in tents.

that's for sure.
