Court papers signed but never filed?

Is there a time limit for filing custody/child support documents that were mutually agreed up but never actually filed?

oh and the other party doesnt want them filed now and wants to pin the other side to the wall for more money regardless of the signed document.

is it too late to file the docs?

    Each state has its own time limits for holding a petition for divorce open, if the petition is still open I would see no reason the papers can not be filed.

    No- i don't think so - i know because my parents filed for divorce and did all the paper work almost 3 years before they actually got divorced.

    I dunno maybe each state has different laws- but if one state allows more than 3 years- you should be fine
