Is Plasma TV hard to see from sharp angles? or is it LCD???

One of them kinda turns black if you don't look at it straight.

LCD projection TVs have lenses right behind the screens...if you are at a sharp angle, the picture can disappear or become harder to see....

Plasma really doesn't have that problem, but at sharp angles Glare from a sunny room can affect it....

LCD Panel displays do not suffer in either situation posted above......it would be the more "universal" choice of TV.

You people who have answered ahead of me really need to get updated. The new LCDs have almost as good a viewing angle as plasma. If you have a bright room with windows and a lot of sun then dont buy plasma. LCDs have anti-glare panels so you can see them excellently in the brightest light.

LCD have harsh glares from sunlight or other lighting in the room but typically have a very wide viewing angle, whereas LCD screens have very little reflection of lighting but have more limited viewing angles, however it seems like the have improved greatly in recent years, with (for my needs) very practical viewing angles. But yes, LCD can turn black from certian views.

    Plasma has better viewing angle.

LCDs at wide angles lose brightness, contrast, (for example, in many LCD TVs blacks turn dark green.)
