I got Midland GXT950's with 30 mile range. They work great as long as both parties have them. But as soon as someone tries talking to you on a different radio then you can't hear them. So sounds like the 30 mile range is only applied to the "Transmitting" end, not "receiving" end. Is there a way to modify them? Anyway to bump-up the Rx wattage?

I have a windows recovery disk, but I don't have any driver CD's for my computer. Is it there a way to back up all my drivers....Video card, sound card, wireless, bluetooth, and all the hardware so I can reinstall it after I reinstall Windows? (I will have to format the drive)

Can someone help me out with installing Windows XP on new pc. I did specify to boot from CD and I have PATA drive (no driver needed). When it tries to boot it just sits there does nothing. You can hear the CD spinning for the first few seconds but that's it. No installation window comes up or nothing. What can I do?

I got me a new Alien desktop with AMD. It didn't come with OS so I'm trying to install windows XP. When I try to boot from CD it just sits at "booting from CD:" and you can hear the CD spinning for just the first few seconds and that's it! What am I doing wrong? Windows XP disk is a back up copy of original. Is it possible that it's no good after being copied?

How can I put a picture on the very top or better yet how can I shift everything down so my background picture is exposed.

Only right side has sound.

It does the same thing on both The built-in speakers and earphone jack. So it must be something internal. Can it be my sound card? or just a loose connection somewhere inside? Anyway to fix it without expense?

My DVD has coaxial out but my amp has 6 rca's (right front, right rear, left front, left rear...etc.)

How do I split the digital coaxial to 6 rca's?????

Nobody seems to know. Some people say it's at least 6 gauge some say 14 will do it, and some say that 20 will be just fine. So whatta heck is it??? I don't want to melt it down and start a fire in my house, but don't want to run one that can power up a concert either.

I know that they distribute CD's and set up concerts and stuff, but they also take most of the profit. So what are other options of becoming a famous and rich musician. Can you make your own label? You probly just have to have the G's to produce CD's and pay for the sdutio time on your own, right? In which case, for poor people like me it's not an option :) so is joining a Music Label only option for me? In either case, how do I do it?
