Fawcett first introduced Captain Marvel in 1940 and by 1941 were outselling Superman. DC sued Fawcett in one of the longest running lawsuits ever, finally, Fawcett sold off their rights and DC "invented" an new Captain Marvel.

He had the same powers as Superman. The basic character of Billy Batson, newsboy, would say "Shazam" and became Captain Marvel. Their stories were actually more interesting to those of us who remember, he fought against Adolf Hitler's Captain Nazi. There was eventually a Mary Marvel and Lieutenant Marvel, as you can see, Fawcett was ahead of DC Comics in conceptualizing the Super Hero Group concept. Goku From Dragonball Z His was put in many fan made battles and a battle by a magazine and came out on top against Superman only going to his 1st mode of Supersayin, His power mutiplies 50 to 100 times each level up,he has for levels.In his second form he can blast away a galaxy in his 3rd form stated in the Manga he is strong enough to lift an entire SuperCity ewhich is bigger than any mountain half that the Hulk has lifted.4th stage there is no telling he was raidsing the jungle up at supersonic speeds like giat pillers as a diversionary tactic.The best thing about him is that his power was never granted to him he trained to get it he was only as strong as 5 humans at birth now his power is too high to measure.He has alot of power left I mean no other hero has natural powerf other than Thor and Characters like him that were born that way but everyone else needs an artifact of a gem or stone or be posessed or needs a big battey like the Sun to be all powerful while this guy battles and trains in life and in death in heaven to become ultra powerful.He's the strongest true powered Superhero outside of Marvel and DC.Goku is the most powerful naturally powered Superhero and whats really cool he never stopped training and getting stronger,In the end of his series he got the same going away as Su Wu Kong who he is made after Kong becomes Budda choosen by the higher Gods to make him a God for all that he's been through and proving he deserves it.Goku rode off on the Back of the Eternal Dragon and the Dragonballs dissapered into his body, meaning he was choosen as well to live like a God,100 years later he was still a young man,Vageta stated he is nor living nor dead he just is.Goku is the most powerful superhero.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goku
