Lost! Question....!!!?

The Island, cured Rose & Locke. I think it'll get explained next season. I can't wait til fall!!!!

My first thought was he has a longer life due to the island. However Ben said something in the season finale that made me start to rethink that. Ben says to Jack (I think) "a little while ago I had to kill 40 people." Now I am assuming he is speaking of the people in the Dharma Initiative, but what really interests me here is the little while ago. I am wondering if perhaps Richard doesn't have a long life but perhaps Ben is aging more rapidly?

I guess only time will tell. One of the things I love about Lost is it is one of the few shows that I can't figure out quickly.

I think because he is one of the few Island natives. I think he was born on the Island. And after all we do know the island seems to have magical healing abilities, so why not be able to give it's inhabitants an extended life. I say extended because I'm sure eventually he will get older and die, but I think it just happens a lot LOT slower than normal.

Yes...I noticed that too. I think this next season should have some pretty interesting answers. Like also whose boat is really out there waiting to help them off the island??

I can't wait to see Walt and Micheal....I think one of them is tied into the Flash ahead Jack had. Whose funeral did Jack miss with no other guests?

I agree with the other Answerer in that looking eternally young is Richard's special gift from the island. Locke's is phenomenal healing ability, Desmond's is psychic flashes, Jin's is restored fertility, Rose's is freedom from cancer, Walt's is turning up anyplace he is needed to tell someone something they have to know. Not everyone has one.... or maybe they do.....

I know, I was thinking about that, along with the fact that Jack talked about his father in present tense even though he was dead. Maybe it was a mistake, or maybe they'll explain it in the next season.

OMG I KNOW!!! I WAS WONDERING THAT TOO!!!!! AND HOW DID BEN BECOME IN CHARGE OF HIM IF RICHARD WAS OLDER THAN HE WAS?????

maybe a fountain of youth on the island... or maybe the Dharma people did some experiments on him...
