When you answer ?'s here is it okay to go to a website and copy and paste the answer you want to post?
Their is the place the place that says (know your source list it here) & detials. So I am wondering, you just put the address here. And it's okay to copy and paste from the website to here on yahoo answers. Or should you not do this. Should it just be in your own words, you know your own answer from what you think.

I think it depends on what and how much detail the person seems to want..some truly do not seem to want to look up or know how to look for what they need an answer to.
I paste links that have more details than I am willing to try to type in interest of time.
I will say whatever and then put a link to back up my opinion where needed.
I am fairly good at finding stuff on line I enjoy it..so I don't mind doing a search.
But if it seems a person should know how to find it..I give a basic answer and leave it at that.

It doesn't matter, as long as you cite the source. There are no restrictions on answers other than what's stated in the Y/A guidelines. See http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guidelines... .
