Could you drive to Argentina from California?

Yes or No? It would be of course in a hybrid vehicle.

No, you can't because when you get to the border between Panama and Columbia (which is in South America on your way south to Argentina) you have to go through the southern tip of Panama into Darien Providence. The Darien is dense jungle and the roads are impassable. You can have you car shipped from Panama to Columbia and then you can fly to Columbia to meet your car and continue your drive to Argentina.

Source(s): I have spent the last 2 years reading and studying Panama and was there in December 2006 and bought a beach condo. Also I just read a book "Driving to the end of the world" author Mark McMahon who drove from Arizona to the tip of South America.
