There are two things that will definitely help. The first is to eliminate all table salt you buy from the store. This Na Cl is toxic to his body and his skin is acting like a third kidney and trying to remove the toxins.
If you are feeding him baby food or just processed food and not fresh cooked food, this problem will happen. The processed foods contain a lot of Na Cl, high omega 6 fatty acids that are very inflammatory, and synthetic vitamins that are harmful to the DNA.
Stay completely away from anything with SOY in it! This is terrible for the baby! Soy contains many toxic substances, slows the thyroid down, additionally 99% a very large percentage of soy is genetically modified and it also has one of the highest percentages contamination by pesticides of any of our foods. Soybeans are high in phytic acid, present in the bran or hulls of all seeds. It's a substance that can block the uptake of essential minerals - calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and especially zinc - in the intestinal tract.
If your child is drinking tap water that contains fluoride or if he has been to the dentist and getting fluoride treatments, your child will be deficient in iodine. Fluoride is such a farce in regard to how it helps teeth. It makes the body deficient in iodine that greatly affects the skin.
I suggest purchasing a high quality sea salt that contains many minerals and giving your child at least 1 teaspoon of salt per day (mixed in food). After about one week or less, you should see a great improvement in his skin. Also, add iodine rich foods to his diet and eliminate all fluoride (including fluoride toothpastes!). Sodas are loaded with fluoride because the filters they use in their process doesn't filter the fluoride from the water they use to make the sodas.
Don't worry about keeping fluoride from your child. There are many cultures that don't use this garbage and don't have teeth problems. Just look around at all the problems are children are having from all the garbage we are giving them. Autism has reached epidemic proportions at 1 out of 150 children. Breast cancer is on the increase, not decrease! A few years ago, the statistics said 1 out 9 women got breast cancer. Today, it's 1 out of 7.
Eczema is a warning signal, not a disease. He needs better nutrition. I suggest you check out the web site: www.healthline.cc (not .com). They have great products and you can buy a high quality sea salt from them.
good luck to you.

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

First off, unless your daughter really dislikes what you've prepared for dinner - DON'T MAKE HER SOMETHING DIFFERENT! You're encouraging her to act like a brat by doing that. Just make her sit at the table with you all. If you don't move her away, sure she's going to throw a few fits but she's going to learn that it doesn't work if nobody pays attention to her antics. Is there a reason she doesn't say grace at dinner? What about asking her about her day before your 10 year old? Also you and your husband need to be on the same page about how you treat her or she's going to play you both against each other and she's learning to do that now.

My son had Eczema. The doctor told me to keep him away from eggs, fish, tomatoes, peanut butter, and corn. This made a difference. He is twelve now and doesn't have any problems and he can eat these foods now without problem-has been for about four years or more. This sounds terrible, but I couldn't believe how my doctor knew which foods to avoid without knowing him. I gave him some eggs and he broke out-I felt really terrible but gave him some medicine and he got better. Hopefully your son will outgrow it. Good Luck.

I've had it my whole life - The insides of my arms get really dry and itchy. I have bought so many creams that never work. Lately. I have been rubbing Olive Oil on the areas (constantly) and it has worked better than anything I have tried - other than Prednizone!

My 1yr old has it also. The doctor said any milk based foods can cause it to flare. You could try silk. Soy based products are used in most grade schools.

Take him/her to a dermatologist. Give him/her soy milk and honey. Also lots of oatmeal! Hope this helps!
