Canadian-Usa border question pls help!?

hello, i live in Canada and I am a Canadian citizen and i would like to go to USA in near future, but I heard that at the border they stamp on our passport now a days..is this true?

    I personally loved getting stamps in my passport!

    It's a good thing.

    No, it is not true. I live in Canada and go back and forth into the US all the time and I use my passport and they have not stamped it yet. They scan it, is all.

    I think they stamp the date you have to return within 3 months.
