URGENT HELP NEEDED!!
I need a Jawa costume by Saturday night. I have it almost completed except for the glow in the dark amber eyes. Can anyone PLEASE tell me a simple way *if there is one* to rig light up eyes. I used to have a Jawa costume that lit up but the wiring melted and I dont have the time or skills to redo it. 10 points to the first serious answer
Thanks!!!!!

Quick---high tail it to the dollar store and get some glow in the dark disks or stars. You can cut them to your design and even paste them to dollar store glasses. Or get a couple of glowy bracelets that are popular at carnivals and twist them around a pair of glasses. They sell them in the glasses shape, too.
If you want to some battery powered lights, go to Radio Shack get some low light LEDs--your choice of colour, some wire, a battery connector and a on/off switch. Just let they guys there know what you want and what it's for---they'll probably get a big kick out of it and they'll know all about how LEDs work. And if they can do any damage so close to your eyes!
You can sew the lites into your costume. Length of wire doesn't matter ( build to suit ) And you can sew the switch with the battery holder into your pocket.
If you go with the glow in the dark way you can make a cover for them to " turn them off" or even use Velcro and take them off when not in use. I'm sure they might even will have a cheap flashlight for sale there to charge them up if you need to.
This is a shared answer, so I can't take credit for it by myself.
Have a great time!
