Do NOT feed them hamburger. It is not an adequate substitute and can kill them. I have listed several sites below. However, I would suggest a pet store that carries bugs as food for pet lizards and such.

You can feed the plant very small amounts of raw hamburger meat. Typically around the size of a pea per plant, once or twice a week. Should be fine.

It is unnecessary to feed them insects. Any commercial fertilizer will do the same thing.
