Craptacular Wonderment

If you were the second in command and you KNEW things were being hidden from your bosses boss... would you be a whistle blower... or go silently in the night and allow your boss to carry on without you?

A job that you feel rewarded for good deeds and community service at the risk of your families finances,... or a job that elevates you financially and is flexable with scheduling to allow you to be able to be with your family more??

There are many reasons for different people, some examples are these:

1) the recognition in their community,

2) the tax exemptions for their companies,

3) because it makes them feel good to help others,

4) because they had to repay a debt to society,

5) to honor their county, state, country, etc,

6) in support for the program or cause

Why do you do it?

Please be thoughtful and reflective about the reasons that compel you to participate in a community service.

Is there a set fee book on labor in landscaping?

If, so, where do I buy a book that quotes the dollar value of a service, ie: placing a retainer wall of X amount of feet, or rerouting a driveway in hours spent on service, as simple as lawn mowing lawn in time vs difficulty.

Does a book like this exist?

If I was to visit a casino and want to play a few games for the experience of it all, what should I know?

What roads qualify for tolls?

Why would gravel "through" roads be excluded from this idea when so many gravel roads are not getting funding for pavement, wouldn't that be ONE idea of how to fund paving it?

It would seem to benefit the community by greatly reducing back road drunk drivers, littering, dumping of trash, animals that are abandoned, less wear and tear on the roads, etc.

How can this concept be recognized? Or is this just a no-go concept that I am wishing on here?

I know my state, Missouri, does with every purchase.

Are there more states with or without sales tax?

It seems as though there are so many days to remember, grandparents day, national quilters day, month to remember autism, etc, etc.

Is there a website where I can find all the upcoming days to be honored?

The reason I ask ? We are having a quilt raffle at work, and we want to make the drawing date on a special date associated with the type of work we do.

We all know recycling is best, but what of those who burn the items that reduce to ash? Is it more toxic to the environment to burn than sending them to a landfill?

I have been bitten many times this year in Missouri, USA.. and it seems as though it's become more than just a little pen head sized irritating itchy spot, it is bruising the skin and a Quarter sized spot around the area is puffy and itchy for DAYS!!

Am I the only one noticing this this year?.. I've never brusied from a mosquito bite before, but this year it seems the norm!

Just curious, because I have been through the addiction mode of asking and answering, and am curious how much attention time of your day you give to Yahoo Answers.

We are looking for a 'half-way' spot to relax for the evening as well as see some landsites or entertainment while traveling with 3 kids ages 9-14.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Does bug eating improve the health of bug eating plants, or is water and sunlight enough?

Should I allow a few flies and mosquitos around for those types of plants to be healthier?

What --- of everything else --- do you regret you weren't there for?

Do you cry at family events wishing you were more when your children were younger?

Focused more on their birthdays? Focused less on the bills and more on the events of their lives? Knew every item they were interested in and helped them evolve with those dreams?

What if a Bad dog is just a person who couldn't be rehabilitated? What if that bad dog, once it is put down, comes back as the smallest of animals?
