When it comes to life, what would you choose?

A job that you feel rewarded for good deeds and community service at the risk of your families finances,... or a job that elevates you financially and is flexable with scheduling to allow you to be able to be with your family more??

truthfully, a job which allowed me financial security and family time would be a better fit. those priorities are the most important to me personally. but hear me out.

with the additional spare time afforded to us by the job in question, i feel we would be able to help volunteer and make our community a better place. whether by improving the physical environment, volunteering in local schools or with social causes, or simply by helping old ladies cross the street, i feel the financial security would allow us to take liberties with our free time that we might not otherwise.

but - not all the wealthy are philanthropists. making priorities and sticking to them is what differentiates one individual from another.

Whichever job will make you more fulfilled is always the answer. That said, its always for the singles who have more option. If you have a family, and your spouse isnt making as much, better choose the one that provides more financial reward; life is always give and take. If you choose charity and become fulfilled in your job, u might be having lots of trouble financially and eventually, family relationships. If you choose financial reward over charity, u might not be as happy and fulfilled on the job, but hell, family life goes smooth.

I would always choose a secure blanket under financial security.

I would have to go with the job that would best support my family and give me time with them, but I would choose to do some kind of community service with my family and then it would be a win win situation.

why couldnt you have a job that was rewarding for good deeds for comm service AND flexible scheduling to be with your family? it IS possible...but i have always been taught that money isnt everything and that family is forever so i would pick the more rewarding job
