There's a mechanic's book on what repairs are charged in labor dollars. Is there a book in lawn servioe?

Is there a set fee book on labor in landscaping?

If, so, where do I buy a book that quotes the dollar value of a service, ie: placing a retainer wall of X amount of feet, or rerouting a driveway in hours spent on service, as simple as lawn mowing lawn in time vs difficulty.

Does a book like this exist?

Just a wondering of mine....

the book you are talking about is a flatrate book. there are all kinds of estimating books. I am a builder and have many for my trade. new const. ,remodeling, plumbing, elect., etc. nothing beats going to the job and asessing it yourself though. go to a book store and ask about such books, they are not cheap but well worth the price.

I do not believe there is such a book..

the mechanics book figures how many hours it takes to do a particular job on a particular car, then you multiply the number of hours by your hourly rate....

you figure lawn and landscaping the same way, however every job is different so you have to estimate each

all chevrolet impalas with six cylinders have th same obstructions to changing the water pump, retaining walls aren't.like that, each has it's own problems..
