Would like to know of a web site on feline diabetes.?
My cat has diabetes and I've been reading so many different articials on the subject and would like to know what is the best foods in dry and canned to feed to a diabetic cat. I'm in Ontario Canada. so only canadian products that are available to me. Does anyone have a diabetic cat not requiring any shots only a special diet, right now she's on Hill's M/D, any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Read here https://tr.im/CVhUv
Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.

good brands of aloe vera(i dont know what these would be in canada)in drinking water do a lot for the pancreas-try mixing in a bit and increase to tolerance.hills is made from exactly the same stuff as all other american petfood, exept with vast amounts of a preservitve which is banned in the uk,and i believe banned for human consumption in the us.ultimately u should go for quality of life, not quantity.particularly if your cat is elderly, give it whatever food it likes-!
