blocking a particular person from visiting a blog?
I have just found out that a person who I have had a very bad experience with is a visitor to my blog. I want my blog to be public, I like meeting new people and making new friends but I do not want this person to have any access to my blog or page or anything. Knowing this person is visiting my page/blog reading my profile etc makes me feel invaded, its like there is no hiding place even on the net. Can I block just one person but still alow public access and not restrict it to friends only?? This is very important to me any advice welcome.

I think the above is sound advice. Set your blog to "Friends," then you can still be active in meeting new people. You may just need to be proactive about it.
At the top of your 360 space is a "Search" link. You can find blogs that skew toward what you're looking for there. You can search for people via nickname or search for subjects via keywords. That page and also your "Home" page lists "Interesting Pages" as well.
Also, click on the Answers categories on the left and go to those sections. Scope out people answering questions on those topics, then click on their avatar and check out 360 profile, if they have it listed.
If you find anyone you like (anywhere), then click on the "Add" link under their picture on their 360 page. You can always take them off the list later. Send them a message, introduce yourself, get a conversation going, and then see if they want to add you as well (to be fully connected as a friend).

There's virtually no way to block someone from viewing a public blog. Even if you could block a particular name or IP address, there's nothing to stop that person from using a different name or a different computer.
You might try marking most of your posts for friends-only, explain the situation and asking for their help growing your friends circle.
I'm so sorry you're having this problem. Good luck.
