How long does water take to freeze in an ice cube tray?

How long does it take to make ice cubes in an average freezer? In those flat ice cube trays you pour the water into?

wow, guys.... anywhere from 45 min to 5 hours, huh? Thanks..... anyone got sources??

    a matter of hours, but overnight will ensure that they are solidly frozen.

    honey will get very thick and crystallize but I doubt you can freeze it because the sugar keeps ice form forming at temperatures in our refrigerator try it and find out put some salt water in a tray as well why do cars use "antifreeze" (careful that stuff is sweet but poisonous)

    actually boiling water in a ice cube will freeze much faster than stated below. so thus, it'd be ina few hours give or take.

    Coffee would definitely take longer time to freeze. Exactly how long... that would depend on a lot of things (initial temperature of the coffee, water, freezer, the concentration of the coffee, etc.)

    About an hour or so avg. Depends how cold your freezer is

    Depends on the water distilled water will freeze quicker than tap water distilled water has less impurities than tap water
