    Hi, Leslie,

Here are some ideas that I've seen work well. I hope they work for you.

    1) Develop a relationship with repair shops. Find out which of their customers have cars that are about to die.

    2) Get to know the tow truck drivers in your area. Pay them a few dollars for the names of people whose cars they have towed because the cars have serious mechanical problems.

    3) Prowl Craigslist.org. Enter listings indicating your ability to find cars. Or if you have a car that matches a buyer's want ad, push it toward them. Or when a car like one you have is offered for sale on craigslist, email the seller and ask him or her to give you any leftover inquiries. Often there are tons of those.

    4) Take one of your better cars to the parking lot of a busy shopping center and put up well-done signs offering people to take it for a test drive.

    5) Get the list of graduating seniors at the local college and at the local high school and write to each of their parents talking about the "special offers" you have for recent graduates.

    6) Buy a mailing list of people who in your area who are driving older cars. That type of sifting is easy for a good mailing list company such as USA Lists.

    Good luck.

Which stimulus, Obama's 787 billion or Bush's 4 trillion stimulus? That's right, Bush pumped 4 trillion into tax breaks, so big companies and the 400 richiest families in American could make bigger profits. How did that work for us? We waited 10 years now, where's the stimulus impact? Funny how you can't wait 2 years on a long term stimulus, of which more than 3/4 of the money as not be paid yet. The truth is that Obamas bill was very long term, long return on investment, and even long term before paments were made on it. So get some patience. No...I did not support Bush's because you can't make more money by collecting less. You can't lower taxes and expect higher tax revenues. Yes...I suppoted Obama's stimulus and believe it is working. First, Obam is the only president between Bush and Obama and Reagan who has created private sector jobs. His energy provisions have good value for tomorrow's America and show great vision and strategy.

I think it all depends to the audience you are trying to reach. This might not be totally true but I think individuals > 45 years of age might go to their local paper more than online. Sites like cars.com carry ads that are from the local paper as well as online only. Other sites can be more specialized like autotrader. Craigslist is also another good one and it is free.
