Check in the back for a fuse. If there is one it
might be blown.
If not, your TV has sung it's swan song.

It sounds to me like the" relay" inside the front control panel of the TV that receives the signal from your remote is gone. If the TV is old, it may cost more to fix it than to put the money on something new.

It may not be a big problem. There are several switches and relays that would be an easy, cheap fix for a TV repairman.

Your best course is to have a TV Tech have a look so you can decide if it is worth fixing !
