If I close any application be it browser or mail then all desk top icons cease to respond . The only way to open anything is from the task bar at the bottom or the side bar after pressing start. If I restart the computer all is normal until I close any program !

In towns and cities what are the main reasons to complain of discrimination

The problem has only just appeared . We are running XP home , there is a black pencil thin line vertically in the centre of the screen about 5cm long , it is about 15cm below the top. To the right of this and lower down is another line only 2-5cm also vertical. Now here is the weird thing ( well to me anyway ) is that this fault only appears on the Desktop , Changing the wall paper picture has no effect. I have tried everything I can think of with settings and appearance to no no avail . Any ideas at all would be appreciated .

Was working ok, printed a good A4 picture then a pop up said " ink delivery system failure , there was a fault code . I have followed various suggestions to reset chips etc but nothing has worked so far. This printer cost plenty so I wonder if by chance someone may have had the same fault . Many thanks in advance ( and many more later if I get a solution.

She has to get up during night and bathe them in cold water to get temp relief , the legs feel cold to the touch. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When I hit shift 2 when doing e-mail address I get this " then when I hit that key that does that character the inverted commas I get @ . Any one know what this might be ? The machine is under warranty but I don't want to take back to shop and lose all my programmes etc if I can help it !!!

I have a new HP Pavilion dv6770 . I have read on here that to install XP ( has Vista now ) It is ok to put the XP instalation disk in and get the PC to boot on the XP disk, will that method over write the existing Vista without problems ? is it easy as it sounds ? .

Does DNA mutate with evolution ?

Leftside headlamp remains on when lights are suposed to be off ! Could any one make a guess of what might be the cause ?, taking out the fuse for this light does not put the light out , Is there a relay and where is it located ?. I do not have a wiring diagram but have good electrical knowledge. Would be gratefull if any auto elect could help here !!
