1990 Nissan Navara D21 Z20 Motor Petrol?

Leftside headlamp remains on when lights are suposed to be off ! Could any one make a guess of what might be the cause ?, taking out the fuse for this light does not put the light out , Is there a relay and where is it located ?. I do not have a wiring diagram but have good electrical knowledge. Would be gratefull if any auto elect could help here !!

Thanks in advance for all replies.

Cheers Pete

"Good electrical knowledge"? That's an understatement, Pete.

I don't have specific knowledge of this car, but it seems fairly safe to say that there must be a stuck relay somewhere in line with the lamp. If there's a box in the engine bay about 20 cm x 30 cm, pop off the top and start tapping around. Look for black or gray plastic boxes about 2 to 2.5 cm square. I've seen stuck relays in TVs respond well to this type of troubleshooting. What troubles me, however, is that the fuse should be between the relay's contacts and the lamp. Or in line with the power to the relay. I'm curious as to what you find.
