Air Filter question (Ionizer, HEPA Filter)?

http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=1-11/qid=1...

I just bought that, and it says it has an Ionizer in this. I read about Ionizers and it releases bad Ozones into the area that can cause chest pains, Does HEPA filters prevent that from happening? or do I turn the Ionizer off? or just leave it on and turn it off when I am not in the room?

*All* electric home equipment create ozone. something they inform you to the different is "sales talk", aka. lies. as far as that is going, "different ions" incorporate NOx... that's plenty extra poisonous than ozone is. do not run it once you, your pets, or your plant life are interior the homestead.
