All the time man! We had our own stunt team on the playground. We were always "sent to the wall" for our "missions". I mean we really did some crazy stuff for 4rth graders. Did you guys have "a wall" or "the stage" if it was in the cafeteria. I have my initials all over that thing.

O Yes. Some schools I attended had major long swings and I liked to get up high enough that it would buckle and I would drop a little bit at the top of my swing. That was a bit scary, but I loved it. I didn't jump off those swings until I slowed way down.
School yards would never have such big swings today. Afraid the kids might actually have some real fun.

I was obsessed with it... My friends and I got into the habit of trying to go over the bar as well... Once whilst trying to swing over the bar I jumped out and ended up breaking my leg... How's that for a trip down memory lane?

Oh yeah!! It was even better when there would be snow on the ground and then you could just fly off the swing into a pile of snow.

I once tried to do a flip off a swing to impress a girl and landed on my head. Not my smoothest moment.
