So, You're from Indonesia? What do you think about anime in Indonesia?

there's no such thing as anime from indonesia. and the STUPID thing is they take the cartoon, change the music and the voice and make it indonesian. it's really stupid. like in captain tsubasa, they made the music kupu kupu (butterfly). it's stupid really, and i'm indonesian. i think they should stop doing this, it becomes annoying. all the people i know thinks that way too.

the movies in indonesia - really poor visual effects. and also the cartoon movies. really bad. like when they want to put a horror movie and blood in it, it clearly seems so fake and computerized [SORRY-out of the line, hehehe]

Anime IS something that's brought from japan to the country. However, there are only some small communities that really love anime in Indonesia. The richer ones gather once or so in a month for Cosplay. But the number's growing. Some universities that have Japanese Department also held some Japan Event once a year, and they include anime promotion, cosplay, etc.

hmm...what else.. I can't remember, I haven't been watching any animes the last 2 years or so. High school kids are usually the biggest fan, and university freshmen.

I don't think there is any famous anime from Indonesia...
