How do you replace keys on a laptop?

The CTRL key on my laptop just snapped off. It also looks like the glue on the little rubber nub came off, too, because that came out with the actual key, as well. Both of the little pieces of white plastic are still on the key. Any advice on how to get this thing back into place, or at least functional until I have a Dell technician come replace the entire keyboard?

Update:

If you don't seriously have any real advice, then don't answer, or else I'm just going to vote your nonsensical answers down.

Update 2:

I'm adept with computers. I know how to disassemble the computer, myself.

If your still under warranty, go ahead and have Dell repair it. Most keys allow you to simply snap the key back into place, if not, google to find out the best way to replace keys.

Buy or borrow a standard keyboard with a USB Plug. Plug in your USB port. After you restart your computer the keyboard should start working.

    Keyboard prices start at $3.99

You can buy a new replacement laptop keyboard for your laptop on eBay, Dealtime, etc.

If you Google "Replace Keyboard" "your model" you should find the instructions on how to replace the keyboard. If you do not want to try to do this yourself you will need to take it into a shop.

    For example:

in case you're waiting to purchase the keyboard from the producer, you ought to be waiting to swap it your self. The keyboard is definitely between the fewer complicated issues to activate a pc. Worst purchase could probably overcharge you.
