They really were not interested. They enjoyed the cheap labor and the support they received from corporations who wanted their cheap labor.

If we were unable and did not want to keep track of, secure our borders or deport illegals since the last amnesty and it has cost us billions, what has changed?

I havn't heard yet how they intend to enforce all these new laws that illegals have no intention of keeping.

We will just continue to 'catch and release' and intimidate our Border Patrol and give amnesty to the criminals, child molesters, drug dealers, murderers, terrorists while allowing these illegals to abuse our Border Patrol.

This should not be so difficult. The laws are on the books why is it so difficult to start taking it seriously and enforcing it.

We will just have this problem again in 20 years if we aren't already taken over totally by then.

That is an excellent question. And I can only speculate on the answer. So here goes.

The legislature depends on votes to get re-elected. Pushing enforcement of the current laws "might" alienate some voters and cost them re-election.

Enforcement of any law never gets much press. But then that is what the Executive branch of government is supposed to do. But who notices if they do or don't until the situation develops to where doing nothing draws attention.

They are doing a pretty good job turning back the Hatians(African-Americans) with the Coast Guard. It's not ez for the Mayans to get past the Meztizos in Mexico, but once they get here it's a catch and release much like the Cubans. When is the Congressional Black Caucus going to wake up and take affirmative action vs this indio invasion.

As another posted eluded to, it's all about trade and NAFTA laws. Look, the Republican politicos (and Democrats to a lesser extent) pander to their xenophobic crowd by lavishing praise on the "tougher immigration laws", but the reality is that it's all TALK.

They really don't care one way or the other--just like how some push for the "security" angle--it's all crap intended to scare Americans into submission to the federal government.

The ruling class have a plan to rid society of those that do not conform work cheap,do as your told, try to rebel dissenters etc. This is a form genocide not directly killing off but starving out or putting millions of Americans into abject poverty which leads to bad health or slow death! We need to organize & fight back NOW!

Could it be that it is not in the current national interest to do so.

Since the problem has only double since the last amnesty bill, I would say that funding and politicians have been the problem. And they wonder why we are so mad about this new round of amnesty and why we don't believe them.

Because it serves their purpose to the progression of a North American Union.

B/c they have a bigger plan they are not telling us. They want the illegals here. Trust me, if they wanted them gone, they would be gone.
