It maybe that you are drawing too many amps through too thin of a cord! That usually will trip a breaker...

Get a thick cord...(one that goes with your camper is the right type...just go to the camping store and have them make you up a 75 footer of the same material, with the aprpropriate "ends" for your camper and the new 50 amps outletts or 30 amps outlets, depending on what your hooked up to).

    I wish you well...

Does the power trip when you turn on the AC and is OK normally?

It trips because you are taking too much power from the electricity hook up (too many amps), you might be able to get it to work if you turn off everything else, or unhook your camper and run the AC from the engine and battery.

The site owners will have put a small circuit breaker (not many amps to make it trip) in the hook up point so you dont take too much electricity

your camper is drawing more poor than the pole trips at, you need to either increase the fuse / MCB at the pole, or stop using so much power.

if it trips when nothing is on, then you have a leakage in your van, and it is the potential difference caused by the loss, that is tripping the pole.
