  • Sealing a cut tree limb on Cherry Tree?

I am going to cut some limbs off, and I need to know what is the best thing to "seal" the ends of the limbs that I cut off.

I am not going to wait til winter time to cut the branches, because they are getting in the way of the house now, and I dont want any limb damage done to the roof, so, I must do this in August, when its really hot, and hopefully it wont hurt my Cherry Tree too much.

I need to know what to buy, and where to buy a sealer for the cut off limb.

    Thanks for all who contribute.

    I wish you well...

  • Bug Zapper Lights?

Ok, taking the top off the bug zapper light, you always see something that looks like a "Christmas Bulb" that is used to "activate" the Bug Zapper Bulb or Bulbs, (the large ones have two of them, like my 1.5 acre one).

They are usually located on a small plastic knob or configuration that comes directly off the transformer to the lights, and are needed to activate the "bug light".

They only light up for a second or two, then go out, and almost looks like flash bulbs, but, they are not that bright, just a small glow...

I need to know what those type bulbs are, and if I can buy a replacement type "Christmas bulb", (its what I will call it, for lack of a better term or the correct name for it)...

Where can I buy the small bulbs and what are they?

I thank each of you for your imput..

  • Best Furnace?

I'm looking for a high efficiency furnace, with the less reported troubles.

Basically meaning that I want something dependable, with less break downs, and save substantially on my heating bills. I hope to pay less that 2500.00 bucks installed.

I already have A/C installed for an old furnace, about 35 or so years old. So they have to work from the plenum down. I also need a new electronic air cleaner, (repaired the one I have twice and it cost more to repair than a new purchase now). So, if I can include that in the cost, or maybe 400 bucks more, it wont be bad.

Any suggestions? I know Furnaces like Trane, Carrier, and others are "all good", but, I want the best for my money, and with less break downs, or service calls..

I thank each of you for your imput and will be waiting for answers...

    I wish you well..

  • What to get a woman who hates sweets for Mothers Day? Any items usually end up for a Garage Sale later on!?

She doesnt like chocolates, or sweets. I buy something for her and it ends up going for a garage sale next year. (That really is an irritante when I find something I "think" she will like and she ends up pitching it later. I need something "sentimental value"?? Or, something she will cherish and not devalue later...
