Which decade would you say was the best to be a teenager/grow up in?

I always wanted to be a teen in the 1960s. I absolutely love the Beatles and a lot of the 60s groups and culture. However, I grew up in the early to mid 80s and thoroughly enjoyed myself then. So much depends upon your perspective. I think each era is great and hard in its own way.
