    it is internet tv and phone that travle through fiberoptic cable which is able to transmit the signals in light which is more exact (for better looking tv) and faster (for faster internet) than the traditional electric signals if it is available in your area i would definitly recomend getting it

    FIOS is a tv, phone, and internet system. it runs thru fiber optic cables, thats where it gets the name Fios. if you get DVR in the tv then it allows you to stop, fast forward, rewind, and pause live tv (well you cant fast forward live tv but you can record a show, watch it later, and fast forward thru the commercials when you watch it)

    it is a good television system and has many options. it includes instant weather and traffic alerts, and includes On Demand, which is an awesome movie network. Overall, I think it's a great system.
