Do men like tattoos on women? If yes, How many and where?

I have two! I'm curious if men think tattoos are sexy or if they make a bad statement for women.

That answer depends on the man, his tastes, values, etc. And if you are an independant woman you won't care if men like them or not! Get them for yourself, not a man ... and don't NOT get them because you are afraid of what other people think of you.

I love tattoos on women because women have nice soft clear skiin and a tattoo adds beauty to a woman's body. A woman's body is already a work of art and a work of art on a work of art is even better. I like anything from 1 to a whole body piece. And I can look at them anytime. I have 24 of my own. But I think they look better on women than men. They look ok on men though. Tattoos don't a statement make. Attitude a statement makes.

I think it all depends on the guy and his own personal tastes. My man and I have been together for 5 years, and I have always wanted one, and he has always told me he didn't necessarily care for them . But he also realized that it was my body-not his, it didn't affect who I truly am as a human being, didn't affect how much he loves me. I got my first tattoo about 2 weeks ago, and when I showed it to him he said it was beautiful and he liked it: this coming from the guy who protested very loudly when I first started talking about getting one...I went with something small and tasteful, and is hidden when I wear clothes, because that is what I wanted. Any guy who thinks that a women is less worthy because of a tattoo is small-minded. Do you really want to be with a guy like that?

The only negative thing I have ever heard guys say about tattoos consistently is that many of them refer to the lower back/hip area tattoos as a "tramp stamp". I used to want one many years ago but decided against it when it became trendy and popular (I resist such things). However, if a girl wants a tattoo and is sure about it, she should get it wherever she wants because SHE wants to, and disregard what others think. To not get a tattoo because you are afraid of what others will think is rediculous and goes against the philosophy of getting one in the first place. A tattoo is and should be something about YOU, not anyone else.

I personally love tatts on women, I don't think it makes them look cheap or easy. It's just another way to express your self. And I wouldn't pay any attention to people who say those kind of things they probably don't have the balls to do anything that others don't approve of. Simply put it's your body decorate it anyway you want. Have fun life is short.

i don't think there's an exact number or place where men will think they're sexy (eg '2 - one on the shoulder, one on the hip, otherwise it's utterly unsexy). each man will be different - some will be into it, some will be indifferent, some will hate them.

I don't like them. I think they make a woman look cheap. They're not called "Tramp Stamps" for nothing!
