How do you manage you time between family and work?

I work at home on our farm so I am around my family alot. Sometimes it gets a little tedious but usually we are ok.

Very, very carefully. I am extremely lucky because I teach, so I spend summers with the kids and the kids alone. No need to worry about working and them being overlooked or bored during the summer months. During school months, it's a different story. The first thing I do is set up homework, dinner and bedtime routines so they know what's going to happen when. Secondly, I make every free moment that we have count. Working and momming is the hardest thing in the world to do. Let me know if you get any good advice.

I set dates. I make them for me and hubby, I make them for my kids, I make them for our entire family and I take time I need for myself when I can... Eventually a routine develops and everyone is happy :)
