well the lakers are my team and here's who I want them to pick

I'm gonna go with Nick Young

Young is very very underrated because he plays in the West Coast and no one actually gets to see him play that much.

He's about 6'6-6'7 and 200 pounds...perfectly built to be an nba SF/SG. He is a very streaky shooter with an excellent mid range game.

I would prolly say he has the best mid range game from any player in this year's draft. Dude can take a dribble going to his left or right and pull up and knock down a J. He can also post you guys up and go for a fadeaway....which he knocks down reguarly.

If he moves more often without the ball he could be a player like Richard Hamilton, where he could curl off screens and knock down 12-15 footers with or without taking a dribble.

He is a strong finisher in fastbreak opportunities. He just an average passer nothing spectacular about it.

His defense is pretty good. He can body guys up and play physical and can play on the ball defense.

He could be the deven george type player for the lakers

He tends to lose his focus quite a bit but there's no question about his attitude and his determination to play winning basketball.

His body is a carbon copy of Kobe Bryant's when kb came in when he was 18...actually Aaron Affllalo is more like kobe but it doesn't matter (actually i would be happy if afflallo gets picked by the lakers too haha since he and young have a similar body frame and offensive game like Kobe's)

So he can learn how to play under the mentoring of Kobe Bryant. Both of them have similar games with the step back, pull up J's near the free throw line, fadeaways, fallaways, post up games, etc etc.

he is the scoring guard/ shooter/playmaker/versatile defender that the lakers desperately desperately need

My pick would be Nick Young because the Lakers are in need of a SF and he would be a perfect fit. He was very good for USC, but is very underrated because he plays in the West Coast and no one actually gets to see him play that much. He's about 6'6-6'7 and 200 pounds...perfectly built to be an nba SF/SG. He is a very streaky shooter with an excellent mid range game. I would prolly say he has the one of the best mid range game from any player in this year's draft. He can take a dribble going to his left or right and pull up and knock down a J. He can also post you guys up and go for a fadeaway....which he knocks down reguarly.

He can body guys up and play physical and can play on the ball defense. He tends to lose his focus quite a bit but there's no question about his attitude and his determination to play winning basketball. With all of these tools, Nick Young should be going number 19 to the lakers in the NBA draft

I'm gonna go against everybody and say rodney stuckey, he comes from a small conference so most people don't know anything about him, but he's an incredible scorer at close to 27ppg. Everybody compares him to allen iverson because of his quickness and the lakers desperately need another scoring option to Kobe. Also you can't expect a big man to fill this role, Bynum is good enough and he will keep developing. You can't expect a big man to come in and dominate with 20 and 10 to compliment Kobe, unless they trade for the first pick and get Greg Oden.

I'd go Splitter based on their current roster.

Here's the deal though - this pick will probably be traded OR they'll have made a trade altering their roster already.

Nick Young is okay - Morris Almond will be a better player.

i personaly think they should trade up but if not

Aaron gray.. or another good three point shooter. becuase look how well clevland did with daniel gibson and his threes with james driving dishing it out then pop a three.. kobe can drive on anyone and shoot anywhere but if he could drive pop out to an atomatic open three kobe would have more open looks the defense would open up and other players can feed of the energy of a big three

Javaris Crittenton cus he would help kobe and lamar, and get rid of smush, jordan is good but lets try something new, but i would want Mike Conley Jr

lakers could use a big man, so tiago splitter would work.
