If Mexicans are being converted to Islam, does that mean the Amnesty Bill is just a step in a long term plan?

Scary, but unfortunately not too far-fetched of an idea...

At the very least, it is a theory worth considering because we tend to think of "history" and "future" as being comprised of events which take place in our lifetimes. (Obviously that is an excessively short-sighted view, but it's all most people tend to consider--we are a culture of immediate gratification.)

Other groups have long term plans in the works... For instance, the stated goal of Islam is to be the ONLY religion in the world--either by conversion or by killing all infidels. That kind of grand scheme cannot be accomplished in a few short years... it takes generations!

So, like I said, scary, but not very far-fetched.

I personally have never met a Mexican Muslim that I know of. There is a man, José Luis De Jesús Miranda, that thinks he is the second coming of Jesus (seriously) and is gathering quite a large following. It seems to me, that could be a little more dangerous. Anytime people think that they have "god on earth" it never leads to anything good.

I'm not sure what being Muslim and the Amnesty Bill has anything to do with each other but Muslims as a group are good people. The devout members live strict lives and do not drink or even watch television. They are not all people ( I am not Muslim, Christian, or even part of a minority for that matter) that belittle women and cover them from head to toe. The Koran is very similar to the Bible and it condemns murder of any type. They are very traditional and follow their beliefs, even stopping five times a day to pray, beginning at around 5am.

Islam should not be linked to negative things because some extremist members have used its name for evil. That would be like saying that people who claim to be Christians (Nazi's, White Supremacists', and Timothy McVeigh who was responsible for Oklahoma bombing) should represent all Christian churches. Catholic Priests are not all child molesters. Pagans do not worship evil. Members of the Satanic church do not even believe in a "Satan".

Do your own research before letting fear overtake your opinions and common sense. Not everyone wants to take over your little piece of earth or threaten your way of life. A lot of people just want the same chance that you have had in life, usually much less. Live and let live. When will people stop putting so much emphasis on differences and just see people? The holocaust partly occurred because Hitler feared what was different.
