My subs make a pulsing sound even when the radio is off?

Everything is hooked up right witht the amp, subs, and cd player but when i turn on my truck the speakers make a pulsing sound. I turn the radio off and it still does it. Can someone give me an idea as to why its doing that?

Update:

Speakers are making a pulsing sound even when the radio is off. I redid the ground earlier today and actually had a guy from the install at circuit city look at it and say he didnt know. the remote wire is connected the fuses are good. the ground is a foot from the amp. the ground wire is 4-gauge. power as well.

reground your amplifier using the same size wire as you use to power it. Ground it to a clean, bare metal spot within 3' of the amplifier.

The wires are not shielded and you are getting some type of unintended signal over the wires into your speaker.

Get some better speaker wire and make sure it is completely insulated from all metal components and vibrations.

Your amp is hooked up to a 'keyed on' power wire.

Its your ground man, Try moving it further from the engine. Its picking up something from the chassis.
