What kind of metal is this old tennis bracelet?

It's a gold color, but doesn't say 14k or anything you'd expect. It says "925" on one end, and a dot with CL on the other end. It's nicely made, not cheap, and looks kinda old. It is set with 60 square garnets There are no "worn" spots in the yellow metal.

The .925 is the amt. of silver in the bracelet.

It is sterling silver for sure.

Since it is a gold covered, it is probably plated

with 14K or 10K gold as well. The CL with the

dot sounds like a jewelry companys mark to

    identify their goods.

It sounds like a nice piece and may be

    worth a decent amt.

You can have it appraised at a jewelry

store to see if the garnets are valuable as well.

60 of them is a lot!

Square ones are a little more rare than round.
