Well, that about says it. A friend was on a tv program and I want to give her a copy as a gift for her own personal viewing. It's on my DVR, which has lots of outputs, but what device do I need to bring it to my notebook and make a copy for her?

I can log on but all my account info is missing? Anybody know what's going on?

We have had a pair of ospreys sampling the trout from our pond. Today, the male was just sitting in a tree making a choice, I suppose. Two red tailed hawks came from quite a distance (I saw them circling as flecks in the sky), and then took a dive at the osprey. The osprey went low then began a climb, with the hawks trying to climb faster. All three went way up until they were almost out of sight. Then the hawks gave up. It appeared the osprey was a better climber.

I can understand hawks trying to take away a fish... but the osprey was empty-handed. What do you think was going on?

I would like to be able to take and send photos when I travel. I would like to be able to check and answer email. I would like to be able to use the internet for ordinary research (wikipedia, etc.). I don't neccesarily need to store photos, music or stream video.

My 77 year old mother is a heart patient, having survived a bypass operation about 4 years ago. She's injured her lower back, is in severe pain that ibuprophen doesn't seem to help, and the doc wants to wait a week to see her. I'm thinking of taking her to the ER. This has to be stressing her already weak heart.

The salesman just left. $2300! Wow. Amazon sells do-it-yourself for under $300. The yard is mostly soft lawn, so the wire is an easy install. Is there a difference in the hardware to make up the difference in cost: I mean, is one PetSafe product (Amazon) better than another (professional install)?

I've been looking at her for a week and nothing seems to fit. She'll think her name is puppy-puppy if I don't come up with something soon. She is full of herself, but calm natured. Really sweet and cuddly.

We are staying in Las Vegas this weekend with friends and this Ford 500 we rented is like an oven. It takes a good half hour for the a/c to cool it down in this 107 degree heat. Then you park it in the sun to look at the Grand Canyon and you gotta start all over again. Thanks for any info!

How quick does it respond to commands? Does it lag? Do you think the service plans are good value?

It's a gold color, but doesn't say 14k or anything you'd expect. It says "925" on one end, and a dot with CL on the other end. It's nicely made, not cheap, and looks kinda old. It is set with 60 square garnets There are no "worn" spots in the yellow metal.

We would like to travel from the West coast to one of the great American amusement parks. We don't know much about these but hear they are well-worth a visit. How many days should we plan on, and other attractions are in the area of each?

I just overheated a non-stick skillet (silverstone-type) because I took a phone call and forgot the flame was on. It smells like burning plastic. I set it outside to cool and opened the windows.

But the skillet looks okay. Should I throw it out or use it?
