All right, who agrees with me, enough is enough with this Jr. thing?

I say it's time to let this Jr. thing go. I'm happy he'll be with Hendrick next year, I think he'll have a great career there. My only problem is people calling themsleves fans of Jr. but are now bashing the hell out of him. I say leave the guy alone, he did what was best for him and that was to move on. Good luck to Jr. next year.

I agree. If you are a true fan you will stick with him. If you won't stick with him let it go. For God's sake, none of us are losing or making any money from him or getting any notoriety. Leave it be and let the guy be happy with who he is going with. I am proud he is trying to make a name for his self outside of DEI and I think his father would be proud of him!!

This will cool down somewhat, but I don't see people stopping talking about it. The talk will merely shift somewhat. Now the talk will be about sponsors and number until that's sorted out. Then it will be about testing once the season is done. Then it will be about speedweeks.

This isn't going away because there are a LOT of Jr fans, and a LOT of Hendrick fans. You may get tired of hearing about it, but I just don't see that talking stopping anytime soon - sorry.

Bingo Briar_rose, Bingo. A significant number of Jr's fans came directly from his Daddy's fan base. I was a diehard Dale Sr fan. When he died I was lost. When I saw Jr win shortly thereafter, I was hooked. Anything Dale Sr related, DEI, Dale Jr, and even Mikey Waltrip, the fans embraced and became very protective of. If you could ask Sterlin Marlin he'd tell you. He bore the brunt of the wrath following Sr's death, until now, until Teresa. Teresa miscalculated, she thought the fans were loyal to her as well, boy was she wrong.

    I agree, Good Luck Jr...

I still think he sold us out though.

I agree, the fans that are leaving him because of his decision is really sad. But you know sometimes you have to weed out the flaky fans, let them go support another driver half a$$ed!

And I'm happy he is going to Hendricks too, he'll be happy and excited about his career now, not bogged down and burdened.

Godsmack I don't think she meant enough with the Jr post, just the Jr bashing. At least I think that's what you meant.

I can't agree more i love junior i am a big fan and enough already, he would be the first one to say move on this has gotten enough attention i think people forget that it isn't even halfway through the season and nobody seems to care. I like the fact that junior went to a winning team and he will probably win a few championships so lets just move on and to all the supposed junior fans who are now turning against him they weren't true fans to begin with so good riddance

Well how do you think he feels? Im sure hes sick of the attention and questions. I do agree with you though. More topics in NASCAR than Junior, and fans bashing him for moving to a better team are not really fans if thats how they support their driver.

I apologize, I got all worked up!! i am sick of the Jr bashers because he is now Jeff's teammate. I am proud of Jr and can't wait to see what he does. I agree with you on his fans turning their backs on him. Like I said it is still the same Old Jr. Just on a different, yet BETTER team, where he feels more wanted and treated better.

SORRY AGAIN. Just don't like Jr bashers.

good luck to him for sure hes gonna need it, there is just a lot of fan investment in the drivers regardless of which one, and when a switch like this is made, some are going to take it badly.

Amen. Too much of a big deal made over this ( NA$CAR loves all the PR ). Anymore and I'm going to puke.

I agree, he has to move on. He can't live in Dad's shadow and he has the right to go out and do his own thing. He is a good driver and has done well for himself. If his fans don't like it, than they are not true fans. His true fans will follow his career where ever it takes him.
