  • Can you give me a statistical opinion?

I'm a member of Fantasy Challenge Race League (http://www.fcrlonline.com/ ) and this race I want to trade one of my drivers for either:

    *Matt Kenseth

    *Kevin Harvick

    *Mark Martin

    *Kurt Busch

    *Jeff Burton

I would greatly appreciate your opinion based on statistics not favoritism as to who I should trade for. Thank You!

  • How old were you when you got into NASCAR?

Who was your favorite driver at that time?

I myself got into NASCAR in 2003 at the age 32! Yup I was a late bloomer! LOL

But my favorite driver then is still my favorite now, Dale Jr!!!

I like his personality and the fact that he almost always admits when he's done something wrong and appologizes for it.

  • Cabbage Rolls?

I'm making cabbage rolls for the 1st time and I found a recipe on the internet that my husband says sounds just like his mom used to make (Since she has passed on I cannot ask her for her recipe) My question is with the meat you put inside should I cook the ground beef first? r put it in raw and let it cook as it bakes, the recipe did not specify. Does anyone know?

  • Speaking of Michael Waltrip.............................?

Did you all think the rescue team that responded to Michael after his accident responded rather slowly considering the man was traped in a burning car?

I mean that first guy on the scene was just kinda looking in the car walking around it..............I would have been yanking his butt outta there. I realize he's a big guy but come on. Poor Mickey that must have been horrible for his wife to watch.

  • Questions from Bristol?

Yes it's true there weren't all the 7 car pile ups we all love, but I still thought the race was good. I loved loved loved seeing my Junebug scrapping it up for the lead. He never made it but he sure did try!!!!

Now then the race left me with alot of questions that I'd love your opinions on.

#1 The radio conversation Jr and Tony jr had about the pit stop strategies. Dale was telling Tony to quit bugging him about getting out of the pits faster because he didn't want a speeding penalty and Tony was trying to explain how if you do it right you can gain some much needed spots. This leads to my question(s), would Jr be so bold to tell a new crew chief off like that? Would he be more willing to listen and take the advise and try it? You know it's often said that your mother can tell you to do something till she's blue in the face and you blow her off as just nagging, but let a stranger or your friend tell you the same and all of a sudden you've just heard the gospel for the first time. I guess what I'm asking, is Jr too comfortable with Tony Jr to even listen to sound advise anymore?

#2 Michael Waltrip is about to get lapped by the leader, Kasey Kahne, who has like a 1.23 second lead on Carl Edwards and Dale Jr. He races Kasey like he's fighting for the win in the last lap, which allows Carl and Jr to catch up to him. The announcers are baffled as to why he's racing these guys so hard, then one announcer has an epiphany. Is Michael doing this to get camera time for his sponsors???? WTF? I'm thinking, who would of thought Mickey had any brains to think up something like that, but if you think about it it's a pretty damn good idea? He did get ALOT of attention for all that blocking (all be it the wrong kind) but ALOT of attention none the less. Do you all think that's what he was really doing?

#3 Kevin Harvick vs Juan Problem Montoya. There was plenty of opportunity, especially at Bristol, to bump the jackass in retaliation for Watkins Glen and blame it on the track with no appologies. But he didn't. Then I notice that Flaps (Ku Bush) has taken the 11th spot in the points from Happy Harvick and now Jr is battling him for the 12th spot. My question, If Harvick was higher up in the points with nothing to lose, would he have tried something on Montoya??? Or did he lay off because he had to consider his points? If he misses the Chase do you think he'll get his revenge then??? Or did he just give up on the whole thing?

#4 Ricky Rudd, could this guy have a worse last season or what?

#5 David Ragan ???? WTF? Did he just make the Guiness Book of World Records for most cautions in one race??? And will he have a ride much longer?

#6 When Matt Kenseth got caught up in the mishap with Ricky Rudd and Jimmy Johnson in lap 452 was it wrong of me to jump up and down doing the Snoopy Dance and crying out "Yes Yes!!" in sheer extasy? I did have about a .008 sec twinge of pity for him, then it dissapeared and I was reveling in my crashgasim again. Is something wrong with me?

And last but not least #7 What ever happened to MaryD? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL I actually thought of her because a Ford won!

  • Is Harvick going to get fined?

Hi guys!!! Long time no chat. I had family visit from California for a week and got home late and left the house early so I haven't been in here for a week. I've missed all my Y!A Buddies!

I got to see all but the last 6 laps of the race on Sunday. I know Tony Stewert won, but that's it.

So is Happy gonna get slapped a fine for his "Happy" words to JPMontoya? I know the wreck wasn't Montoya's fault but I thought it was hysterical to see them go at each other! I wanted Kevin to smack him so bad LOLOLOL Then when he told the reporter he was telling him he was going to kick his @$$ I thought I was gonna faint I was laughing so hard! I love NASCAR for the sport and strategy, but a little drama every now and then is great too!

    So what happened?

  • I have to ask.......................?

I tuned in the last 20 minutes of Trackside last night with Max Seigel(sp?) and several timesit was mentioned that they were considering several drivers to put in the 8 car. Does this mean all hopes of Teresa freeing the 8 to Dale are over?

I also wanted to know how the NASCAR fans there greeted him (Max)when he was introduced to the stage. Was there booing or anything?

And lastly is Max Teresas boy toy???

  • DavidG cheats???

Wow! I'm really shocked that so many of you are bashing David G or leading our new members to believe he's a cheater.

    Here is my humble opinion.

#1 I'm going to agree with Miami fan in that some of the Best Answers David gets voted on are not in fact the best answer. And David and I have discussed this (via email) and he was the first to admit this was true as well.

#2 Is this DavidG's doing? NO, he ALWAYS has put "Jeff Gordon Rules" as his source, he has from day 1 that I started on here and has never stopped. The fact that people are voting for him is in no way in his control either. You mean to tell me if I wanted to be the Best Answerer in here all I have to do is put "Dale Jr Rules" as my source and all you Jr fans are going to vote for me? It's that simple? Well shoot then why not! Hey for all you Harvick, Bowyer and Kenseth fans, go for it do it too and from now on screw it, we won't even read the other answers we'll just know who to vote for! Hmmmmmmm wait

  • Even the cats get blamed?

Suffering suckatash!!! Wendy Venturini just reported that Tony Stewert left his faucet on in his Motor Home and it over flooded the whole thing, and he blamed his 2 innocent kitty cats!!!!

He was caught inviting some of his crew over for a little BBQ later tonight! : O Poor wittle puddy tats!

Sorry Stewert fans I'm just razzing you a little! It warmed my heart just a tiny bit to know Tony has some kitties. I love cats and I'm glad to know he has a kind heart towards them.

  • Are you a blind follower?

Ok if you didn't know, I'm a huge Dale Jr and Jeff Gordon fan. I feel I'm as loyal as they come. But here's what I don't get, how can fans be so blind when their driver does wrong?

I mean when the whole bracket thing came out with Dale's car, I accepted the crime as well as the punishment, same thing with Jeff and Jimmy. If you ask if Jeff is a whiner I'm first in line to say Yes he is!, Is Dale Jr the sharpest tool in the shed? maybe not, but I like his good ol boy attitude. My point is I love these guys, faults and all and I just don't understand how other fans can't see their drivers for who they are too.

Someone posted about how Tony Stewert came off as an A Hole in his interview during qualyfing, and all the Stewert fans (Who probably didn't even see the interview) immediately start making excuses for his bad behavior. Geeze I'd have more respect for you as fans if you could just say, "Yeah he sounded rude, but that's my boy"

    your thoughts?

  • Is there a tear in your beer?

    YES!!!

I'll admit, I'm dissapointed Bud won't be with Dale next year. Maybe when the sponsor contracts HMS has now expire Bud will switch back over to Dale. It wouldn't be so bad if the rumors that Pepsi will be his sponsor weren't out, I'm a Coke girl. What do you all think?

  • Can I just say Hi and catch up?

Hey guys!!! Long time no answer LOL I've been renovating my teenage son's room into a nursery for my 7 month old the past 3 days. I am exhausted and still not even half way done, but I thought I'd take a teeny tiny break and say Hi. "Hi"!!!

And I need to catch up, I got to watch the race on Sunday but that was it, I haven't read or watched any NASCAR related news. So What's going on, who's making it happen and how'd it get to that point? Fill Me in please!!!

  • Are you tired of all this drama?

Come on in to the Shorty Cantina!

Only friends are welcome, no bashing on other drivers allowed and porta potties are provided out side.

Tonight we'll start off with a joke:

A teacher asked her class, What do you want out of life?"

A little girl in the back row raised her hand and said, "All I want out of life is four little animals.

" The teacher asked, "Really and what four little animals would that be sugar?

" The little girl said, "A mink on my back, a jaguar in the garage, a tiger in the bed and of course, I'll need a jackass to pay for all of it."

    **laughter and applause**

Next I will be taking drink orders, tonights special is a nice dark stoudt beer with a hint of chocolate.

Also we have champagne mixers, pick your flavor

    watermelon

    green apple

    peach

    wild cherry

Tonights featured music will be a throw back to the 70's

    Any request?

  • Happy Harvick?

Happy I talked with Out For Justice and he's sorry, apparently something crawled up his butt and died there and he was just a little irritated. I know this sounds like I'm joking but I'm being serious....... (wait not about the bug in the butt, but he was just irritated)

He's not a bad guy and can you please give him another chance? Please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?
