Is Harvick going to get fined?
Hi guys!!! Long time no chat. I had family visit from California for a week and got home late and left the house early so I haven't been in here for a week. I've missed all my Y!A Buddies!
I got to see all but the last 6 laps of the race on Sunday. I know Tony Stewert won, but that's it.
So is Happy gonna get slapped a fine for his "Happy" words to JPMontoya? I know the wreck wasn't Montoya's fault but I thought it was hysterical to see them go at each other! I wanted Kevin to smack him so bad LOLOLOL Then when he told the reporter he was telling him he was going to kick his @$$ I thought I was gonna faint I was laughing so hard! I love NASCAR for the sport and strategy, but a little drama every now and then is great too!
So what happened?
Wow it's hard to believe the FCC will allow @$$ but not $#!t. weird.
DUPY!!!! I missed you too sweetie!!! Steevo and Michie told me about it and Steve said he'll send me an invite!!

I think ya've got the scoop on what happened. At the crux of it is whether or not he blocking manuever by Montoya was the right move or not. Others see it as Truex's mistake to not adjust so as to avoid the crash.
No matter what, Harvick was rightfully upset at being taken out of the race, but questionable as to whether or not going after Montoya was right.
NASCAR, I believe, has spoken.
"No fine."

I agree with mlblue. Isnt that bs. I dont understand the swearing anyway. Man, I watch regular tv and they swear on there more then NASCAR drivers swear. Makes no sense. On cable you would think they could swear, like the kids in this world have never hear it anyway. Sometimes I think NASCAR needs to get a life.

Harvick should have been fined for his pit crew working on the 29 during a red flag. That was pretty blatent.

Nope... NASCAR said that the word a$s doesn't violate FCC rules, so no fine for Harvick.
Best race in a while, eh?

If Harvick was going to get fined he would have by now. Usually when NASCAR hands down a fine it's usually announced the next day.

I didn't get to see the race, I had to work....that dirty four-letter word again. No fine for Harvick, I wish he would have knocked JPM on his a*s. I guess you can say that word on TV now...but don't say sh!t....doesn't make much sense that one word is permissible but not the other.

Yeah, I was hoping they would at least take off their helmets! No such luck. Did you hear Montoya's crew chief on the radio yelling at him to get back in the car?
No fine as far as I know. I don't think they consider @$$ to be cursing, after all, it is cable now.
Go Jr.>>>>
Source(s): Montoya was bocking Truex, Truex got into Montoya going into turn 1 (I think) then Montoya collected Harvick in the wreck, and Burton came up and "tapped" him too. They both got out of their cars and pushed and grabbed helmets... - Anonymous1 decade ago
The FCC allows A** to be said on TV. I hear that word all the time on TV.

I don't think they are going to or should fine Harvick... I do think it's a shame that he didn't go ahead and whoop Montonya's azz right there on the track, but................. maybe next time!
