What can I give my son who is almost 3 for nausea?
My son is almost 3 yrs old, and he has gotten sick this morning, I was not sure of what over the counter type thing I could give hime to keep him throwing up again? If it does not work then I will call the doctor, he does not have fever or diarrhea. I think because it is so hot here right now that he just got a little sick. Thank you for your help.

Flat Sprite or 7up , Coca-cola, or ginger ale. Some pharmacies sell Coca-cola syrup. That would work as well. Saltine crackers or pretzels if he feels like eating. Encourage him to nap. Sleep empties the stomach and eases the urge to vomit.
It's not necessary to medicate. Some of those do more harm than good.

at 3 he can handle a small dose of anti neausa medication.
Walmart or walgreens brand is fine. The lable will read from 12 years up give him 1/8 of the recomended dose. This will not harm him.
GOOD LUCK

Flat [NO fizz] soft drink [coke, lemonade, etc] to replace sugars. If he feels like eating, then plain unsalted dry cracker biscuits and grated apple.
