The Houston Rockets have the 26th pick in the NBA Draft... which player should they take?

You have to figure that the Rockets don't deal Howard without looking to replace him in the draft. Glen Davis is the likely replacement, as a possible scoring power forward. Aaron Gray to back up Yao doesn't make much sense, so the Big Baby is likely it.

With the departure of Juwan Howard to the T-wolves they will most likely be looking to fix their lack of depth at the PF spot so sean williams would be a good pick here. His off the court issues are going to be taken into regards but the guy is very talented and he can play PF and C which is something the rockets would love to have since mutombo is about ready to retire. He was one of the top shot blockers in college and he is very athletic which is something the rockets could use to help match up with some of the quicker teams. He is a very good defensive player and has improved his FG% and FT% over the years. Aldeman may be able to snap him into a better player and work more on his offense to help him be a bigger contributor to a team that needs to get past the 1st round of the playoffs

Pruitt. Beyond a doubt the best player available. AND if you think your point guard position is set by bringing in Mike James... you're VERY wrong. FYI - he's on his 7th team in 6 years!!!!!

In order: Miami, Boston, Detroit, Houston, Milwaukee, Toronto, Minnesota, and Houston again. Yeah, he screams "long term solution".

Please. James is a band-aid, a good band-aid, but nonetheless a temporary solution. Pruitt should be brought in for every reason I can think of.

Rockets need a 4 who can stand up to the better forwards in the game and a point man with the guts to go into the lane and finish.

i think big baby glen davis has to go to the rockets. even though i doubt that he will go this late (26 th pick), i think if he does than he would be a great gift for the rockets. he is a big man that can help the rockets in their missing power forward position and knows how to shoot and at times can run the floor. he has proven that he can help teams win games and with his versatile offense, he would do wonders with the playmaking ability of the rockets player like mcgrady, alston, and mike james.

they dont need a pg anymore after getting mike james. they are set at center and small forward. hayes can play power forward so i think they should go with fernandez. i know they have head, but fernandez is a much better player and would be a steal at this point
