How do I ask my girl friend to marry me?

Do it at night on the beach. She will remember surely remember that moment. But first make sure she is ready too, because if she is not then things might get bad. I would say at night on the beach that sounds really romantic. Good luck!

You should make it romantic. Something she can go to her friends and family and brag about, because girls like that and that way she will always remember it.

Just an idea:

at night make a very romantic scene out on the beach. Champaign w/glass cups. Some type of romantic food NOT pizza or anything of that sort. Be in a quiet area where you can just watch the water in the beach and be relaxed. Also make sure you're on some type of spread to sit on together as yall eat (but it has to be pretty cause it could affect the mood). Buy her roses and just make her feel like the night is hers. After you guys have ate and are having a great conversation kiss her, hold her hand, tell her how much she means to you then pop the question.

Night---I love the blind fold idea with "Will You Marry Me" spelled out in the sand. I would give her a glass of wine, but don't put the ring at the bottom....she would then have to drink the whole glass and the ring would be dirty. Instead you could put the ring at the bottom of a wine bottle and stick it in the sand next to the question. Kinda Message in a Bottle-ish. If it's done at the right time the sky will be a beautiful backdrop for pictures. You might want to see if you can get someone from the hotel to be hidding somewhere and taking pictures or videoing the proposal as it all unfolds. Do it early in the vacation, but not to early. Second or third night. The first night she will probably be tired from traveling all day.

I think you should have little gifts throughout the day that say how special she is. Like putting notes in her bathrobe if they are supplied in the hotel. Putting notes by the tub that you fill with bubble bath before your big night and maybe a single rose or something. Then when you are walking along the beach you should quote some type of prose or something or hand her the Queen of hearts and tell her that she is the Queen of your heart and have rose petals placed around where you are going to take her before hand I was thinking you should do this at sunset so that way you can have a great dinner afterwards.

Idea: If their is water then rent a boat take her out on the water and you two can have dinner under the stars. When it comes to dessert have something sweet and put the ring next to the cake with the diamond sticking out of the cake, but to where she will notice it so there is no emergency room involved with this date. Then when she notices the ring pop the question.

i don't know. Even so if she is ready everything will fall perfectly in place and it will be the greatest night.

Yea doing it ont the beach is a great idea but like b4 u go on vacation tell her u want it to b romantic so the whole time when uare on vacation so when propose to her she will never expect it because if the whole vacation is romantic she will be soo surprized oh yea and make sure it is early in the vacation so u can spend the rest of the vacation celebrating and if u need more ideas watch the show I Propose on the style network they have really romantic ideas!!!!!!!

That would be a great idea. Is it just you and her going or are you going with family and friends? You should set up something romantic, since you would like to propose on the beach, maybe you could plan a special dinner or dessert on the beach during sunset or get up early in the morning to watch the sunrise.

If it is a night you could take her on a walk down the beach and have her find a spot that you put together with wood and rocks asking her to marry you.

If you are going with friends or family you could ask them to help set something up. I just saw something on TV about a guy that set up a special date near the Hollywood sign to propose to his girlfriend. Set up a special date to ask her.

Have a romantic dinner on the beach or a restaurant near the beach and pop the question then, I think that'd be amazing.

For the ring, ask a few of her friends what she likes and then get it. And don't forget to ask them what her ring size is.

I'm not big on cliche so the beach deal won't do it for me. I like something more unique. Maybe take her to a show while you're out of town and ask if they can bring her onstage or something and incorporate your proposal into their act. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to do so and it's free publicity for them.

Or take her to downtown at your vacation spot and have an artist draw a caracature of the two of you. When the artist is done drawing, he'll show you two a picture of you on your knees proposing to her. By this time, she'll be so confused w/ the drawing that she won't even notice you reaching for the ring in your pocket.

Blind fold her before you take her to the beach. Give her a glass of wine(white) When you get there and have her take it off so that she will see a "will you Marry me?" written in the sand and will be holding a glass of wine with the ring in glass. Do this in the evening there should be less people. And if you time it just right the sky will make for a beautiful picture after she says "YES"
