Check your gas milage on your car. Then multiply that by how many miles it is then multiply that by how many the price of gas. then Add 15% for lee way.
To get your gas mileage. Fill up your tank. check your milage or reset your trip meter. drive around a while use half or full tank. fill up again. See how much gas it took to fill up your tank. Take the number of miles you traveled on your trip odometer since your last fill up(it must be a fill up) and Devide that by the amount of galons of gas. Say you have 300 miles and you put in 15 galons you would get 20 miles per gallon.
So if you get 20 miles per gallon and you have to travel 1000 miles 1000/20=50 50*$3.50 per gallon = $175
