As some have mentioned, I too had given up on even hoping. She walked into a class I was teaching (it was for adults so don't panic! LOL!) Even so, I had no intention because of my solid rule 'never with a student.' The day she stopped being my student, she got impatient and kissed me...hard. She hasn't left since and I've never been happier. We've been together almost 12 years, married for ten. Every day I fall in love all over again..and every day the feeling is stronger..even when she ticks me off...or I tick her off (which is more the case of course!)

I hate to say it, but match.com...I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I had given up hope on finding someone worth my effort and then there he was. He contacted me first, but there were a lot of toads along the way. We have been very happily together 5 years and I feel very fortunate.
I was told by my mom to just give up the search and wait for it to find me, you know those mom's and their advice. It did work this time. The first time around was a nightmare, but the second one is a dream. Good Luck!

In short, I quit looking.
I had become friends with this really nice girl. And when I first went to her house, I met her mom and her 3 brothers. After about 3 weeks of hanging out at her house and interacting with the family as a whole, I learned that one of the guys had a secret crush on me. (Best friends can't keep secrets from one another, you know?). So, when he got up the nerve, this shy guy asked me out. We've been happy ever since-- married 3 years. Plus, I have the best in-laws I could ever imagine---- all of them!

Met my wife at work. We quickly became great friends and did many of the same things together...played in volleyball leagues...rented and watched movies together to the wee hours...went out to dinner together. Eventually, it just clicked that we wanted more and became a couple. I think that the key is that we started out great friends first with similar interests.

I found my fiance when I wasn't looking for anyone. Honestly....I had given up on relationships and decided to not get into anything and there he was like 3 or 4 months after. I am truly blessed. God has taken care of me. I suggest praying about it.

jealously at first. i had a gf she had a bf. we traded horror stoires. we'd both liked each other since the 5th grade. She actully still has the valentine card i gave her. then we dated. lots of bagage. i had lots of gf's. she cheated on me. (A couple dates and kisses.) We fought, made up. made up for like 6 months. moved in together, fought some more (like 8 months until i learned to give in.) bought the ring. waited six months to propose. She got mad at me for not doing it on our first date. I did it on purpose cause a man needs to ask on his terms. I cried while i asked. (i knew she would say yes, but i was asking for a future with her.) She said yes...... Then came the hell 12months of her going crazy and both of our families seeing it. She asked me to show up early and then I sat in the bathroom for 5 hours while she did the hall/reception area. My brother came in a made a really bad poop that stunk it up. My mom, who is as bossy as my wife, bowed down to he on this day. al this combined. When i watched her come down the aisle, it was i could do not to cry. It's a look in the eye i think. (not the, I wanna jump you, look) it's the, "i might sock you in the arm (flirting) look," that makes you wanna hold them. cause if you can't flirt with you hubby/wifey, then what's the point. But it was work. it's always Work. If you can put in WORK. then be single.

Dont be jealous ,happy couples work hard to be happy and stays in love. You will find your love ,if you are loving and lovable. What you sow is what you reap.

i'd consider myself involved in a happy relationship, for the most part, although everything isn't perfect. I think to find someone they have to "want" to fall for you just as much as you do, otherwise it won't work, sometimes i believe you can fall in love with anyone who genuinely wants to fall in love as well, as long as you have a general connection.

Through school, but you should go to a lot of social gatherings and look around for that perfect person
