artist are said to be creative they organize ideas in form in music(ie) the interplay between order and disorder only in religion do people assume that things come from or are created from nothing and in doing so assume the postulate that there had to be a creator that defies the very concept as this creator was not created . the conundrum is a catch 22.

I can only assume that you do not want a simple dictionary explanation, and that you are asking this in a philosophical manner.

When one creates one brings things into being in a manner in which they did not exist previously. For example when you create a painting , you bring together potential elements of a painting and by your will make--create--something which had the potential to exist. But would not have existed; if you had to put energy and soul into it. That is the main factor in a true creation--it has some of the vital energy of the creator and freezes part of him/her in time/space for others to see and be effected by, and perhaps restart the creation cycle. But the important thing is what does it mean to you? And what will you do with that meaning? That is what is you meaning and what is the meaning of the creation have a dynamic relationship. Or something like that.

It means to provide an identity (to put it into certain frame of reference or dimensions) to something from nothing.

The act of creation was done/completed during first six days of this universe, by the All Mighty Creator, now no more creation but composition, production or re composition is possible by us, as we can't create something from nothing. We need a raw material to recompose it to some other thing.

Only All Mighty Allah Has this capability to create something from nothing and we can only produce something from other thing or things.

Creation is a timeless and space less abrupt act that is dimension less and logic less. Whereas production, the second stage that comes after creation, is time based, space and sequence based act that takes place through mediums, sources and resources.

Allah All Mighty created this universe in first six days and throw the whole set of creatures into a process of production later on, (into the ocean of time and space) that was the act known as big bang.

To "create" means to put and keep something in existence. God is Creator because He puts and sustains everything in existence. He is the maker and final goal of everything that exists, all things visible and invisible.

The truth of creation means that God's loving creativity builds into each of us a meaning, purpose and destiny which nothing can take away from us.

    Peace and blessings!

To make with the resources around you.

    That's what I think.

    I didn't use a dictionary though.

  • to bring into existence through creative means, whether they be reshaping something old into a completely new form, or bringing into existence something new entirely.
