"NO" even when I was totally out of it spiritually! And I thank God Himself for that because if you ask this question you probably know that according to the Bible, Jesus Himself says this is the one sin you will "NOT" be forgiven for! You can blaspheme God Himself and Jesus, (the son of man) and be forgiven, but not blasphemy of the Holy Spirit!

Mark 3:29 "but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation" --

Luke 12:10 "And anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but to him who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven.

I have even been idiotic enough to "literally" stand in the middle of a raging Florida thunder storm a furiously angry young man, shook my fists at God and cursed at Him! I would "NOT" encourage someone to be so foolish. God had a use for me and so "HE" chose not to make me a "Fried Fool" as I think back on this time. He was being extremely merciful! I just didn't understand why He allowed me to experience my dad's suicide and other traumatic events in my youth. Now I have a better understanding and I have His forgiveness.

Hello, This case of blasphemy is a specific one, called “the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” in Matthew 12:31. In Matthew 12:31-32, the Pharisees, having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by the demon “Beelzebub” (Matthew 12:24). Now notice that in Mark 3:30 Jesus is very specific about what they did to commit “blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.” So this blasphemy has to do with someone accusing Jesus Christ of being demon-possessed instead of Spirit-filled. To blaspheme against God or the Holy (Ghost) Spirit is to cuss or say anything in disrespect. It is the only sin that is unforgivable.

To blaspheme against the Holy Ghost is to have been given a testimony...a sure knowledge...from the Holy Ghost, and then to deny it.

Purposely...no. It is the one unforgivable sin...therefore, I would never feel clean and spotless...IOW forgiven of my sins...if I had.

Well you assume we all have religious understanding.

So if we do, and blaspheme, then yes it is on purpose.

BUT, if someone is not religious, then they can not insult what they do not know.

Yes I have. I'll do it now! I deny the existence of the Holy Ghost. I also deny the existence of god, jesus, heaven, hell, noah's ark, the tooth fairy, the easter bunny, and all the other figments of man's imagination.

Sure, in the eyes of Christians I've done it everytime I have said I don't believe in God.
