"Who but a slave thanks his master for what his master has decided to do without bothering to consult him?"

Update:

Atheist girl - feel free to borrow the quote as I have also borrowed it

To others - when my government decides I should pay higher taxes, I don't thank them. When my employer decides to eliminate some benefit at work, I do not thank them.

Update 2:

I would not consult my 2 year old and I would not expect them to thank me deciding their bed time either.

Apparently one must be young enough to be brain washed and easily scared or old and senile to "understand god"

    Well said!

I might add, "Who but a Religious person would consider it "free choice" to have only one option available without fear of punishment or Death?".

Then again, why would a master NEED to consult his slave on most matters?

Do you consult your 2 year old child on all decisions you make?

Every person who holds a job or lives under a government does.

    A loving bondservant.

    Isaiah 55:9

For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

As He always has our best interest at heart, who can argue with that?

I had no idea that you had to be of a certain age to 'understand' god.

    Don't we all?

    Employee to employer.

    Child to parent.

    Customer to vendor.

    Citizen to government.
